For extra fun, try scuba diving, windsurfing, or fishing. The island's charming town of San Pedro, where you will find quaint restaurants, shopping and nightlife is just a leisurely walk away. As a guest of the hotel, bicycles are provided free of charge for you to explore the town and island. Decorated in Caribbean colors using native hardwoods or stucco and tile, your Ocean View Room has its own individual character. Each offers a choice of one queen or two double beds, private bath with shower, air conditioning, mini-fridge and fresh daily linens including large towels for use at the pool or the beach. For leaving your workday world behind, telephones are intentionally not provided in your room, but phone service is available through the office. When it comes to dining, the Squirrel's Nest Bar is located right on the beach under a large palapa. It is open from 7:30am to 9:00pm serving refreshments, including light lunches and snacks. It has a full bar featuring the house specialty "Mata Colada" and the local brew, "Belikin" beer. From 7:30am to 9:30am the Squirrel's Nest is the place for your complimentary buffet style continental breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee; locally baked sweet rolls, toast and a variety of fruits are offered. For local color and flavor, there are about 25 restaurants and tiny outdoor cafés within a 20-minute walk from your room. Walking along the beach is a favorite way to go dining in San Pedro.
