Villas Rio Mar is set on the banks of the Barú River, surrounded by impressive tropical forests, this Jungle resort awaits you with traditional friendly hospitality. The property is bordered by a spectacular mountain range and the pristine beaches of Dominical.

All rooms have a private, terrace-like living room and are equipped with: king-size bed, ceiling fans, refrigerator, hair dryer, telephone, Internet access and of course a hammock. The restaurant serves international and local specialties that will surprise even the most discriminating gourmets. The hotel features a large swimming pool with wet bar and Jacuzzi. The small village of Dominical is a short walk away.

It has several tiny cozy restaurants. After dinner, one or two of these restaurants often change into a small-scale discotheque where local people like to demonstrate their beloved merengue and salsa dances. The village offers a few gift shops and a small ''supermercado''. For those who want to learn Spanish, there is an ''escuela espanol'' on the beach with weekly courses for tourists.
